What are housing associations?

Housing associations provide housing for all sizes of households.  Some housing associations provide a whole range of properties whilst others specialise in certain types of accommodation e.g. housing for the elderly.

Applying for a housing association home

Half of all housing association vacancies are available to people who are nominated (referred) by Rochdale Boroughwide Housing.  You can apply to Rochdale Boroughwide Houisng for a housing association home by completing a Home Choice application form, ensuring that you tick 'yes' where the form asks you if you would like to be considered for nominations to housing association homes.  You can collect an application form from any of our local offices or download one at our website www.rochdalehomechoice.org.uk. 

You can also apply directly to the housing association(s) you are interested in.
