If you would like help applying or advice about benefits or you are having difficulties paying your bills and juggling debt the council's advice service can help you.

If you are a council tenant, private tenant or home owner and want guidance on how much rent you should pay and your entitlement to housing benefit and council tax benefit you can use our benefit calculator.  The calculator also advises you if you may be entitled to tax credits and income supporrt.
